PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — The Peoria Blues & Heritage Music Festival has officially unveiled its second wave of musical acts set to perform during its 35th annual event.
Taking place Labor Day weekend, the festival runs August 29–30 along the Peoria Riverfront, according to Ian Strasser, spokesperson for Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment.
🎸 Newly Announced Artists Include:
Taj Farrant – A teenage guitar prodigy taking the world by storm with viral performances and astonishing talent.
Buckwheat Zydeco Jr. – Blending Louisiana zydeco with soul and blues, honoring a rich musical legacy.
Maurice John Vaughn with Freddie Dixon & John Watkins – Legendary Chicago blues collaboration, known for their gritty, authentic sound and joint album 3by3.
Frank Bang – Slide guitar virtuoso and former Buddy Guy sideman, known for his electrifying blues rock.
Brandon Santini – A Memphis-style harmonica powerhouse with raw vocals and modern blues soul.
