What Happened in Season 2?
Season 2 saw Seong Gi-hun unable to walk away from the trauma of the games. He returned with a plan to dismantle the organization from within. Alongside a disguised detective and the Front Man, Gi-hun attempted to lead a rebellion.
But in a shocking finale, the Front Man betrayed him. The rebellion failed, and Gi-hun’s closest ally, Jung-bae, was killed — setting the stage for Season 3’s desperate final stand.
Will There Be a Season 4?
No. According to Netflix and series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk, Season 3 is the final season of Squid Game.
