Blue October in Concert

Location: Tannahill’s Tavern & Music Hall

Blue October returns to Fort Worth for the second time this month on their “Argue With A Tree Tour 2025”, commemorating the 20th anniversary of their first live concert film and album, Argue With A Tree. The band recently released their 13th studio album, Happy Birthday (2024).


Jesse Daniel in Concert

Location: Billy Bob’s Texas

California-born country rocker Jesse Daniel brings his raw, cathartic style to Billy Bob’s. Known for albums Son of San Lorenzo (2020) and Countin’ the Miles (2024), his music blends longing and introspection with gritty energy.


Friday, June 27

Magnolia at the Modern: The Life of Chuck

Location: Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

A genre-bending adaptation of Stephen King’s novella, this film tells three chapters in the life of Charles Krantz (played by Cody Flanagan, Jacob Tremblay, and Tom Hiddleston). The cast includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, Mark Hamill, and Nick Offerman as narrator.
🕒 Screens seven times through Sunday.


Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra: Night of Strings at the Garden

Location: Fort Worth Botanic Garden

Guest conductor Ron Spigelman leads a cultural musical journey with works including:

  • Bartók – Rumanian Folk Dances

  • Still – Danzas de Panamá

  • Grieg – Two Norwegian Airs

  • Schreker – Intermezzo

An evening rich with Romantic-era strings and folk tradition.


Sundown Collaborative Theatre: The Amphibians

Location: Theatre Denton Annex, Golden Triangle Mall

Set 13 years into a climate-ravaged future in west-central Florida, two teens uncover a mysterious woodland secret that challenges the meaning of friendship and responsibility at the world’s end.
🎭 Runs through July 6.


Improv Arlington: Clayton English

Location: Improv Arlington

Clayton English, winner of Last Comic Standing (2015), headlines with his sharp, high-energy comedy. He’s opened for legends like Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr.

Hyena’s: Dustin Ybarra

Location: Hyena’s Comedy Nightclub

Known for roles in The Goldbergs, Californication, Kevin (Probably) Saves the World, and Gotham, comedian Dustin Ybarra brings his cinematic wit and storytelling to the stand-up stage.

Robert Earl Keen in Concert

Location: Billy Bob’s Texas

Though retired from touring in 2022, Texas music legend Robert Earl Keen continues with one-off shows. His 2023 album Western Chill marks the 20th release of his career. He’s written for George Strait, The Chicks, The Highwaymen, and more.


Saturday, June 28

Trinity Pride Fest

Location: South Main Village

Fort Worth’s annual LGBTQ+ celebration features:

  • Live performances across multiple zones

  • Food trucks and local bites

  • Wandering Roots Vendor Market

  • Kid-friendly activities

  • Non-profit community row

  • A Pride Parade & Block Party on South Main

Free and open to all.


Claws Out Comedy & Drag Pride Show

Location: Amphibian Stage

Part of Trinity Pride Fest, this special event blends stand-up comedy and drag performance, featuring underrepresented DFW voices. A celebration of inclusion, humor, and identity.


Ashley McBryde in Concert

Location: Billy Bob’s Texas

The Grammy-winning country singer returns with songs from her acclaimed album The Devil I Know (2023). Her breakout debut, A Girl Going Nowhere (2018), was only the beginning of her chart-topping journey.
