Tulsa’s beloved Folds of Honor FreedomFest is set to light up the skies and riverside this July 4, offering residents and visitors an evening packed with fresh entertainment and patriotic celebration.
Event Overview
Now in its 49th year, the Independence Day celebration, hosted by the River Parks Authority, will take place along the Arkansas River and introduce new attractions including:
High-flying performances by the Monster Energy BMX Team
Live music from The Dirt Road Daredevils
Featured DJ sets to keep the energy up throughout the evening
New Location Highlights
This year’s event will be centered at two main areas:
River West Festival Park
The newly introduced Zink Lake Watch Zone, which replaces Dream Keepers Park as a central activity hub
Both areas will be open to the public starting at 5 p.m., with stage entertainment beginning at 6 p.m. at River West Festival Park.
Fireworks Show
The grand finale of the night will be Tulsa’s largest fireworks display, presented by Hance Pyrotechnics. This year, fireworks will be launched from the west bank of the Arkansas River, offering optimal viewing from both event zones.
“River Parks is excited to welcome Tulsans and visitors from across the region for our 49th Fourth of July fireworks celebration,” said Jeff Edwards, Executive Director of River Parks Authority.
