Man Dies After Being Blown From Moving Pickup Truck in Hart County, Georgia
A man died Monday after he was blown out of a pickup truck in Hart County, Georgia. The Hart County Sheriff’s Office reported that officers were called about 8:30 p.m. to Mount Olivet Road regarding a person who had fallen from the back of a pickup truck.
Details of the Tragic Incident
The victim was identified as Matthew Hill, 59, of Hartwell, GA. Deputies stated that Hill was riding in the bed of the truck while holding a camouflage hunting blind.
Witnesses at the scene informed deputies that the wind blew the blind from the vehicle, subsequently pulling Hill out of the truck with it.
Hill was flown to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died on Tuesday.
